37. The decision is enforceable as soon as it is received by the parties to the contract even though one of the parties plans to subsequently refer the same dispute to an arbitrator or to a court of general jurisdiction.
If the decision sets an amount to be paid, payment must be made within 10 days after receipt of the decision. The second paragraph of section 17 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies (chapter C-65.1) does not apply in respect of the payment.
